GP White Resin is Samrat Poly Resins' general-purpose orthophthalic unsaturated polyester resin for FRP panels, general moulding, hand layup, spray-up, cooling towers and water storage tanks. GP White Resin uses the published GP Clear base-resin specification (TDS reference SPR-TDS-GCR): 350-450 cPs viscosity, gel time under 8 minutes, 33-40% styrene and a non-accelerated curing system, with white pigmentation as described in the GP White SDS. The 'Clear' and 'crystal-clear' wording on that base-resin sheet describes the base resin before pigmentation. Its non-accelerated system is used with MEKP catalyst and cobalt octoate accelerator at room temperature. For buyers searching for white polyester resin, the relevant question is whether this general-purpose laminate role and published process data match the intended FRP component; it is not a substitute for a mould-surface gelcoat or a statement about the final colour of every reinforced part.
GP White Resin is catalysed with an MEKP hardener and reinforced with glass fibre for hand layup and spray-up. For the separately listed clear grade, see our GP Clear Resin; mould-facing surfaces can be finished with a Gelcoat Resin, and projects needing higher chemical resistance can step up to Vinyl Ester Resin.
What is GP White Resin?
GP White Resin is Samrat Poly Resins' general-purpose orthophthalic polyester resin for reinforced FRP manufacture, issued on the same base technical specification as GP Clear Resin. It is selected as a laminate resin for the published panel, moulding, hand layup, spray-up, cooling-tower and water-tank contexts.
Buyers often use “white resin” as a search term. GP White uses the published GP Clear base-resin specification, with white pigmentation as described in its SDS; it is not a white mould-surface gelcoat and it does not by itself determine the final colour of a pigmented, reinforced or surface-finished FRP part. Review the required supplied appearance and product role before selection.

What this means for GP White Resin buyers
Supplied appearance
GP White uses the GP Clear base-resin specification, with white pigmentation as described in the GP White SDS. The 'Clear' on the base-resin TDS describes the base resin before pigmentation. The supplied resin colour and the final finished surface are separate decisions.
Published moulding and laminate context
Viscosity 350-450 cPs, gel time under 8 minutes and 33-40% styrene come from the base specification shared with GP Clear Resin. Review them against the actual mould, reinforcement, application method and workshop conditions. The white pigmentation is described in the GP White SDS.
