Sheet Grade Resin — FRP Roofing, Cladding & Panels
Sheet grade describes a resin matched to continuous lamination and panel work rather than general moulding: reactivity tuned to line speed, wet-out fast enough for chopped strand mat as it passes, and colour or clarity controlled at the factory instead of on the shop floor. Samrat Poly Resins publishes three sheet grades at Doraha, Punjab, and the choice between them is decided by what the finished sheet has to do about light and sunlight.
Sheet grade is a market term rather than a standardised designation. For the finished product, IS 12866 is the Indian standard covering translucent glass-reinforced polyester sheet, and it sets glass content, light transmission class and ageing criteria that belong to the tested sheet, not to a drum of resin.

Light through the sheet
Roof Light Sheet Grade Resin
A water-white grade for translucent roof-light panels, skylight sheets and greenhouse roofing, where the product is sold on how much daylight it passes.

Sheet Grade Yellow Resin
Pre-pigmented yellow, with the colour dispersed at the factory rather than added at the laminating stage. The general sheet and panel route where the finished part is not facing years of direct sunlight.

UV Stabilized Sheet Grade Yellow Resin
The same pre-pigmented yellow route with a light-stabiliser package, for roofing, cladding and coloured sheet that lives outdoors. It is UV stabilised, not UV curing: it cures conventionally with MEKP and cobalt, and no lamp is involved.
View UV Stabilized Sheet Grade Yellow ResinTwo things no resin supplier can honestly promise for a sheet. Nobody can give a service life in years without a defined exposure site, laminate construction and a stated failure criterion, and accelerated weathering hours do not convert into calendar years — acceleration factors have to be measured, not calculated. Bulk stabilisation also does not replace a surfacing veil or a protective film: they defend against different mechanisms, and the film does not protect cut edges or fastener holes.
