The comparison starts with supplied appearance
GP White Resin and GP Clear Resin are related published general-purpose orthophthalic polyester grades for FRP work. GP Clear Resin is published Clear; GP White Resin uses the GP Clear base-resin specification with white pigmentation, as described in the GP White SDS. Appearance is not a guarantee of the finished part's visible colour.
The final appearance of an FRP part can also depend on reinforcement, pigments and the mould-side surface layer. A buyer should therefore identify what 'white' or 'clear' needs to mean in the actual build-up before selecting a grade.
Compare the published technical data
Both grades publish 350-450 cPs viscosity, gel time under 8 minutes and 33-40% styrene from one shared base specification, reference SPR-TDS-GCR. The GP White SDS confirms the same base resin.
Do not transfer thixotropy, gel time, storage or any other figure from one grade to the other unless it is published for that exact product.
When another product role is relevant
