Similar terminology, separate published roles

A buyer may use artificial stone, quartz stone, cultured marble or decorative cast stone as broad descriptions. Those terms do not automatically identify one resin grade. Samrat Poly Resins publishes GP Quartz Resin for artificial quartz stone, engineered stone slabs and composite mineral surfaces, while Marble Resin has a separate published cultured-marble and artificial-stone role.

The source documents also overlap around some artificial-stone or artificial-marble wording. That overlap does not prove the grades are interchangeable, nor does it establish an absolute boundary or a performance ranking. The correct starting point is the actual finished component and the current document for the shortlisted grade.

Define the actual stone product

State whether the requirement is for artificial quartz stone, an engineered stone slab, cultured marble, decorative cast stone, a tabletop, an interior panel or another defined composite product. Then record the filler or mineral type, required appearance or finish, process if known and any existing written specification.

This creates a factual basis for reviewing the correct product page and TDS without assuming that all mineral-filled or decorative stone products use the same resin data.

Keep technical data grade-specific

GP Quartz Resin publishes 400-800 cPs viscosity, 7-10 minute gel time, a non-accelerated system and approximately two-hour cure time. A buyer should review the current data sheet for the shortlisted grade rather than transfer, average or reconcile figures between products.

Prepare a quote-ready brief

Include the exact finished product, filler or mineral, process if known, finish requirement, expected quantity and delivery location. If there is a customer drawing, sample or written specification, identify it in the enquiry so the product discussion can begin with the relevant facts.
