Styrene Monomer is Samrat Poly Resins' reactive monomer / reactive diluent, positioned for use in compatible unsaturated polyester resin systems. It helps reduce viscosity and supports processing and flow in suitable formulations. Styrene Monomer is not itself a polyester resin — it is a separate reactive component used alongside a selected base resin. Review the actual resin system and current product data before finalising a formulation.
Styrene Monomer is typically used to adjust the working viscosity of an already-selected unsaturated polyester resin system such as our GP Clear Resin or Unsaturated Polyester Resin, or as part of gelcoat formulation work such as our GP Gelcoat Resin. It is a reactive diluent, not a standalone resin — confirm the base resin system and current product data before ordering.
