One broader family, different published routes

Unsaturated Polyester Resin is the broad product family. Samrat publishes DMC/SMC Resin as an orthophthalic UPR route for Dough and Sheet Moulding Compound contexts, while GP Resin pages serve general-purpose FRP selection.

This relationship prevents two common errors: treating the products as unrelated chemistries, or treating every UPR grade as automatically suitable for a moulding-compound requirement.

Choose by the actual manufacturing and component context

Where a purchase requirement specifically names DMC or SMC, begin with DMC/SMC Resin and its current TDS. Where the question is general FRP, use the relevant GP or parent UPR product page and its document instead.

The existing product information does not support moving DMC/SMC properties into GP resin, or GP applications into the specialised moulding-compound route. Keep the documentation attached to the grade under review.

When another product route belongs in the discussion

A conventional FRP sheet or panel requirement belongs to the Sheet Grade product routes, while laminate-building work belongs to the published Lamination Resin route. A specified fire-performance requirement should be handled through the separate Fire Retardant Resin route and its documentation.

These are selection boundaries, not product rankings. The buyer should state the finished application and purchase specification so the correct route can be reviewed.
