UPR is a category; Bisphenol Resin is a document-specific route
Unsaturated Polyester Resin is Samrat's broader product-family route. The current Bisphenol Resin TDS identifies a different Bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin-based thermosetting system, not UPR, and lists styrene content as not applicable.
That distinction reduces the risk of ordering Bisphenol Resin because a broad polyester search term appears to be similar. The useful decision is whether the exact published product route fits the documented application and requirement.
GP Clear Resin retains general-purpose FRP intent
GP Clear Resin is the published general-purpose FRP route and has its own technical document, applications and buyer guidance. The current Bisphenol TDS instead lists laminating, casting, coating and encapsulation contexts.
Neither product is presented here as universally stronger, more durable, more chemical resistant or better for every application. Use the actual component, specification and TDS rather than a generic grade hierarchy.
What to compare before ordering
Compare the exact product identity, current product-specific TDS, application role and stated technical requirement.
Do not transfer viscosity, gel-time or density figures from a GP or UPR grade to Bisphenol Resin. Do not transfer a Bisphenol value to a general-purpose resin requirement either.
When another route should be reviewed
For a defined fire requirement, review the separate Fire Retardant or ISO Fire Retardant product routes. For a separately specified Vinyl Ester requirement, use the Vinyl Ester TDS. For an isophthalic requirement, the site publishes ISO Fire Retardant Resin as a separate isophthalic FR route.
These are distinct buyer journeys. A shared industrial-resin context is not proof that the products are interchangeable.
