What a sticky or tacky result means
A sticky or tacky resin surface means the finished result has not reached the condition expected by the fabricator. It is a troubleshooting signal, not a diagnosis on its own. The same visible outcome can be connected to more than one part of the material, process or environment.
Common areas to check
Start with the exact product and batch, then compare the process with the published TDS. Check whether the resin was within its stated shelf-life and storage conditions, whether the process followed the supplier's stated system, and whether the ambient conditions differed from the normal production environment.
For a laminate, also record the reinforcement, part shape and surface involved. These details help distinguish a general cure issue from a process-specific surface result without recommending unapproved changes.

Use the specified product for the intended application, keep accurate batch and process records, follow the product TDS and maintain controlled storage.
