Different specialist product routes

Fiberglass Epoxy Resin and Vinyl Ester Resin are separate Samrat product routes with different published documentation. The Fiberglass Epoxy TDS focuses on fabric reinforcement, composites, hand lay-up and lamination. Vinyl Ester Resin is published for industrial FRP discussion where a chemical- or corrosion-service requirement is stated.

A shared composite or fiberglass context is not proof of interchangeability. Start with the finished component and the actual requirement, then review the matching product document.

Do not turn broad resistance wording into a compatibility ranking

The Fiberglass Epoxy TDS uses broad chemical-resistance wording but does not publish a chemical-compatibility chart, concentration limit, exposure condition, continuous-service temperature or finished-component approval. It should not be used to recommend the resin for a named chemical service.

Vinyl Ester has its own specialist chemical- and corrosion-service product position, but its current documentation also does not publish a chemical-specific compatibility chart or a finished-system approval. The comparison therefore makes no chemical-resistance hierarchy.

Keep fire requirements separate

Neither a composite-epoxy requirement nor a Vinyl Ester requirement automatically establishes a fire-performance requirement. Fiberglass Epoxy Resin is not presented as fire retardant on this site.

If a project names a fire classification, test method or rating alongside a service requirement, include both requirements in the enquiry. They should not be inferred from a product family name.

Use a service-led RFQ when Vinyl Ester is being evaluated

For a Fiberglass Epoxy discussion, identify the finished composite, system status, reinforcement form if known and current document. For a Vinyl Ester discussion, also identify the actual service medium, concentration and temperature where relevant.
